Outlook 2013 IMAP sync error 800CCC0F-0-0-322 / Win 7 sp 1

Hello,

At my company, we have deployed Outlook 2013 to a select few pilot test users.  This user has an Exchange Account and an IMAP account.  Someone else moved emails from one folder to another and can see the emails in the new folder.  However, my user cannot see the emails moved to her folder by someone else.  (This is an IMAP account.)  The Sync Issues have 344 issues and have the error code 800CCC0F-0-0-322.  I have searched but cannot find a straight answer anywhere.  How to correct this and prevent it from happening in the future?   Thank you!

Synchronizing contacts in Outlook

I have Outlook 2010 on a w7 desktop and a laptop on a home wireless workgroup. Also IE and MSN.

(1) Is there a way to synchronize Outlook contacts on these 2 computers?

I use the laptop primarily and want to receive mail on it. However, if the desktop is on-even when sleeping, mail goes to it. (2) Is there a way to direct mail to the laptop first?

Finally, (3) is there a way to synchronize Outlook contacts to my MSN contacts so I can see them on my Kindle Fire? Email works great on it.

Outlook 2013 - 32 bit issue: One of our users signature does not attach on replies.

We looked at File/Options/Mail/Signatures, and her signature name was on the line for new and for replies and forwards; yet when she replies to an email in Outlook, her signature is not included.  Any ideas as to why?

Thanks!

Cannot Open Outlook

I cannot open Outlook. At the Activate Outlook screen I am prompted to input email. That opens a "Sign In" screen where I am asked for my password. I then get a message that the account [my username] "isn't associated with this Office product". To activate the install I need to use the account associated with the product.  I am using the account I have always used.  It worked day before yesterday when I last logged in.  Can anyone help with this?  Thanks!!

Syncing Office 365 Home for Calendar and Contacts

I have a Dell desktop, an ASUS laptop and a Samsung Galaxy S4 cell.  Outlook 365 Home is loaded on both the desktop and the laptop.  I use CompanionLink to sync on the desktop and laptop and DejaOffice on my cell.  I generally load calendar and contacts on my desktop then sync, wirelessly, to my cell.  It works perfectly.  The problem is that I have been unable to sync from my cell (Android) to the laptop so that my desktop and laptop show identical information. CompanionLink allows a choice to sync from an Android device to Outlook but it won't work.  Thoughts as to a solution would be much appreciated.  Thanks.

Permission level set to Reviewer can still write to the calendar?

Hi all, hopefully this will be an easy one to one of you folks out there a lot smarter than me :-)

I am on Outlook 2010, we use Exchange Server. I had IT create a mailbox to handle scheduling of trainers. All my team members need to be able to view it, but they should not be able to write to it.

Here's how I have the Permissions set up:

  • Default:
    • None
  • Team members:
    • Reviewer,
      • Read = Free/Busy time, subject, location
      • Delete items = None
      • Write = nothing checked
      • Other = nothing checked
  • Me:
    • Owner
      • Read = Full Details
      • Delete items = All
      • Write = Create items, Create subfolders, Edit own (greyed out), Edit all
      • Other = Folder owner, Folder contact, Folder visible

Does anyone see what I'm doing wrong that everyone on the team can still write to the calendar?

Thank you,

Christine

Outlook 2010: Trying to share a calendar

Our company has Office 2010 installed and we are trying to share a calendar. The main calendar is controlled by the secretary and viewable by others. What I am running into is that the "Share Calendar" and "Calendar Permissions" is greyed out - not sure why or how to UN-grey them.

I have also tried to "Publish Online" and have tried several variations of www.location.com and get no where - when publishing to WebDAV. When I try the Office.com direction, I get a "must register to Office.com first" message.

Anyone have any ideas/suggestions?

Much thanks in advance...

Hi

Cannot setup work email in Outlook 2013 - An encrypted connection to the mail server is not available

I am using Office 365 Home and I have tried to connect my work email to Outlook 2013. Whenever I attempt to add the account by the means of Auto Account Setup when setting up a profile, it searches for a very long time only to respond back with "An encrypted connection to the mail server is not available. Click Next to attempt using an unencrypted connection." Clicking Next searches for another minute or so, ultimately to say that it cannot connect.

OWA works perfectly fine with my user name and password. In fact, connecting the Exchange account to my Windows Phone 8.1 also works perfectly fine without hiccups. Despite a fresh installation of Windows 8.1 and a fresh install of Office, it still does not cooperate.

All my incoming e-mails go to the Trash folder instead of the inbox folder. Is there some adjustment I can make.

When sending an email to a Contact Group, is there a setting where the recipients only sees the Contact Group names vs all the members (i.e. "Auto Expand of Contact Groups when sending emails = disabled")?

Thanks in advance!

Unable to correct error in setting up email in Outlook 2010

Setting up Office 2010 for Outlook email I mistakenly clicked on opening for Microsoft Exchange email instead of for POP account. I couldn't back-track so  closed the window, and got a message saying Outlook profiles were incomplete. Screen closed. On opening Outlook it went straight to the MS Exchange screen.

After 'removing' Outlook leaving only Word, Excel etc I tried again. This bypassed the original set up dialogue and went straight to the window asking for details of the non-existent Exchange account.

I uninstalled and re-installed Office 2010 completely.  Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote were OK, but Outlook went straight to the Exchange window, followed by the message that profile was incomplete..

I uninstalled everything again, ran Norton to clear any junk from the registry, re-installed Office 2010 again.  Same result.

I am not too bothered about the email .... but I would like to get the Outlook calendar etc functions working.

Help, please.

Normal template not working in Outlook

I have Windows 8.1 and Office 2010.  My machine just crashed, and when it came back up, my Outlook email messages do not start off in the Normal style.  My Normal style is Arial 10-point, and when I start an email, it's in Calibri 11-point.  Even though the Normal style is highlighted in the Format Text / Styles toolbar.  Once I click on the Normal style, it starts working.

Apparently, I need to change the +Body font.  The information I've found so far says to to Format Text -> Change Styles -> Fonts, but that just lets me select from some built-in themes, none of which has Arial 10.  Best I've got so far is Arial 11.

How can I get emails to start in the Normal style?  Failing that, how can I change the +Body font to what I want?

Creating a Save As pop up in Outlook 2010 for attachments

Because of the nature of our business, we deal in a lot of attachments passing between internal users and clients.  Scenario: end user recieves a word doc as an attachment.  They open it and make changes, and hit "save".  We'd like to implement a pop up hat comes up when saving attachments that queries the user "You appear to be saving an attachment,  would you prefer to 'Save As' ". If they select yes, it will take them into the "save as" menu.  Is something like this possible?  How do we do this?

Default setting when Office 2010 AND 2013 are installed on Windows 8.1

I've had Office 2013 and 2010 concurrently installed on my Win 8.1 machine.

I use both Word 2010 and 2013 sometimes, but mostly Excel 2010 (because it still has the MDI) and 2013 concurrently.

I only use Outlook 2013, but when I click links on web sites that open a mail window, it tries to choose 2010 instead of 2013.  I've tried all the normal stuff, like setting default programs and such in Control Panel.

I can't put my finger on what to do to force IE to point to 2013 Outlook when a mailto: link is clicked.

Probably a simple thing, but I've spent too much time already :)

TIA

I posted this on the Microsoft Community Site on May 22, but their best guess was to post it here. Still unresolved, but I now use Outlook2013 as my full time email program, but without access to hundreds of old emails. Roy

Unable to export messages to Outlook 2013

I can export email messages in WLM format without a hitch. My problem is that I cannot export in Outlook (Exchange) format.

I purchased HUP Office 2013 Pro several months ago, and finally decided to use Outlook 2013 for email. When I try to export my hundreds of existing emails from WLM Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3528.0331) running Win8.1, I get this error:

Outlook is fully setup and works great. I have tried with Outlook open and closed while trying the export, but the same error happens each time. Another forum suggested 3d party software ($49), but I refuse to pay for something that should work in the MS product.

When I click "Repair Now", WLM freezes for a few seconds and then closes. Outlook remains open and unaffected.

How to fix, please?

Roy
