I used to have my calendar displayed with 7 days side by side. I had a problem with Word and had to click on Repair, and after that it reset my OUtlook calendar format to 5 days. The only choices I can find under View are 1 day, 5 day side by side, or 7 days under each other (very hard to read), or month.
I want 7 days side by side like I had before. Does anybody know how to set that up?
I have Windows 8.1 running Outlook 2013 and cannot receive emails either from Bigpond or Gmail.
However, I am able to send emails without a problem so what can I do to receive emails? My tablet running Windows 8.1 and Outlook 2013 has no problem at all!

Here is the issue. I have 2 accounts (one on gmail.com and one on the outlook.com). What I want is that every time I create new contact from mail screen, it always ends up created in the outlook.com contacts folder, no matter which account is currently selected. Is it possible?

It would be so nice of someone responding positively and perfectly to this query of mine.
After struggling to configure the same mail account on 2nd machine in the form of Laptop, and though I am able to receive all the incoming mails, but I am not be send the mails, while I was travelling for the reasons, I am not able to identify.
Kindly let me know as to what settings I need to change or rather follow steps within the Outlook setup to ensure that I am successfully able to send all the mails that I intend to!

Isn't it about time that MS brought in to play a simple way of importing and exporting back up files to and from other email clients such as Thunderbird
I use both Outlook 2013 and Thunderbird and to try to convert a PCV to a PST is a joke
Please MS - join the 2st century and realise that you do not have the sole right to email handling - and offer either a import facility or a simple FREE convertor.......

I am trying to delete files out of my Outlook 2003 account, but keep getting the following message:
The Outlook Data file C: .......... has reached the maximum size. To reduce the amount of data in this file, permanently delete some items that you no longer need. You could also consider using the new Outlook data file (.pst) introduced with Outlook 2003.
How am I supposed to delete files when I keep getting this message????

Hi. I need some help with my synchronization to the IMAP account. My outlook 2013 is synced to my IMAP account, it receives emails and sends no problem. But it doesn't delete from the server. If I delete from either place, the emails get permanently deleted.
I want to change my account in a way that my Outlook 2013 will download the email to my computer and delete from the server. Is there any way to do this?
Please help because my server is almost full and any moment now I won't be able to receive emails from clients!

Hi, running Microsoft Office Home & Business 2010 on Win 7 Pro. BT/Yahoo is my e-mail handler & Outlook is my mail client.
I am constantly getting Outlook Mail pop up windows asking me to confirm my password.
The window, headed Internet E-Mail says:-
“Enter your user name and password for the following server” The window displays my server (Mail.btinternet.com) correct user name (e-mail address) & password.
When clicking ‘OK’ sometimes it will download my mail, other times it pops up again with an error message
“Task ‘*** Email address is removed for privacy *** – Receiving’ reported error (0x800CCC92) : ‘Your e-mail server rejected your login. Verify your user name and password for this account in Account Settings. The server responded: -ERR [AUTH] (#MBR1213) Please verify your account by going to https://login.yahoo.com”
I went to the server via browser log on and reset my password. Outlook mail then worked ok for a day, then it started all over again. Sometimes the problem goes away by itself, but invariably returns.
I complained to BT but they said it was an ‘Outlook’ problem.
In Outlook 2010 for the PC there is a missing scroll bar on the contact details form when the screen is too small to show the entire form (or the form is restored down).
This can be seen by opening a contact and restoring the form down to a small size. See this thread.
For Outlook 2013 on Win8.1 devices, is this the same? It would be nice to have platform details and screenshot evidence.
I have Windows 7 Outlook 2010 and have two POP accounts, I will call them A and B. I want to delete A but retain B. Do I just delete account A in File > Account Settings etc ? Will emails relating to A and B both be retained?

I did the Windows 8.1 update today and when my computer restarted I lost all my Microsoft Outlook 2013 emails, folders & EVERYTHING! I use this for work and need to fix this ASAP.
When I open the new "Outlook".com, it asks me to re-enter my email addresses & details. I use this for work and have various emails.
How do I go about getting the normal Microsoft Outlook 2013 back with all my data.
