I have Outlook 2013. I have two e-mail accounts set up, which I 'think' are identical. One of these accounts is fine. The other account 'loses' e-mails. It only shows me the last 15 days of e-mails. I cannot find any e-mails prior to this, nor can I find 'where' they may be or how to retrieve them back into my in-box. I have no archive (auto or manual) settings set. Please help, although I may not see your e-mail since I am currently losing them.
Thanks

I am trying to start up my Outlook and I got this message:
"Outlook has detected a problem with the existing NormalEmail.dotm. Would you like to create a new NormalEmail.dotm? "
what is that and what does it mean?
I am not able to use the Group Email (Formerly Distribution LIst) feature in Outlook 2013. I have the Office 2013 Professional Plus Home Use Edition purchased through my work. The ICON is there in Contacts but not available to set up a Group. I have attempted Office Repair through the website and also attempted to reload office with my DVD. Is there a solution for this?
Issue 1; When I open calendar, it defaults to the calendar that is shared to me as the primary. This is NOT the basic one, or one of my personal calendars. How can I continue to let it display this shared one, but select a different default one?
Issue 2; When Outlook opens, it selects the most recent message in the inbox, rather than remembering the message it was on at close. How can I get it to resume where it was?
I'm guessing both of these issues stem from some order of operations in how Outlook updates.
the subject lines shown as question mark in Outlook
I am using outlook 365 .. some time when I receive emails in Arabic thesubject lines shown as question mark but the email itself is ok .. could you please help
Outlook 2013, the contacts associated with my email suddenly disappeared. It needs to be noted that the same email address was moved from one host to another. I believe this is the reason why the contacts suddenly disappeared from Outlook 2013. I went back to the old copy of Outlook 2010 and could see the contacts still listed there. I am unsure how to bring them to Outlook 2013. There are 117 of them. Lastly I don't understand why the new host does not show up in Outlooks Contacts like my hotmail, gmail and other email accounts do? Can anyone assist. I'm not real tech savvy so laymen terms would be appreciated.
Thank you
Peggy
Hi!
I have 10 email templates which I have already created and saved in outlook 2013 (.oft files in the default template folder).
I use them a lot in replying to emails, or to create new emails.
How can I add all 10 of them to the quick access toolbar?
Sorry for the beginner question . . . can't figure it out!
Thanks
Using 9926 and of late, and very often now when I go to delete a "Read" email, I get this display "The attempted operation has failed. An object
could not be found". This fires out 8 identical messages and Outlook locks up. I then have to go to Task Manager to end the Outlook task
and I am back to normal. As a subscriber to the "Ugly Interface" thread, I have lots of occasion to delete Read emails - lol.
I feel this is a 9926 problem and not Outlook. My W8.1 PC's are fine.

I am running Windows Professional 32 bit with Office 2010. I am constantly (every half-hour) receiving errors regarding synchronization. I receive the message "Unable to authenticate to Windows Live Calendar." I don't use Calendar--at all, ever. Then there are additional errors with send/receive, synchronizing folder hierarchy, synchronizing a contacts folder (there are two contacts, both for Skype) and errors downloading message body, all Error Code 80041004.
I have previously uninstalled and reinstalled the Outlook Hotmail Connector, and created a new profile in Outlook. The errors persist.
I read on the Microsoft Community that a possible solution is to click on Start, All Programs, Accessories, Run, and entering text:
%userprofile%\LocalSettings\ApplicationData\Microsoft\Outlook, then deleting the .ost files associated with the problem Hotmail account from the current folder location. Remove and re-add the account in new profile and verify the status.
When I entered the text, I received the following message: Windows cannot find '%user'. Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again.
I tried to look for C:\UserName\LocalSettings\ApplicationData\Microsoft\Outlook. I got as far as C:\UserName\LocalSettings\ApplicationData, and then I got Access Denied. Local Settings and ApplicationData are both shortcuts, as represented by the arrow icon, and when I try to expand ApplicationData, I get
Not Accessible. Access is Denied. When I right click and go to Properties, the Security tab shows full permissions for my user account, but I still don't have access. This is puzzling, in addition to the Calendar issue and the other Outlook errors. Any recommendations? Thank you for your help.
I noticed that some of my emails are no longer setup to have contacts listed or even suggested contacts listed under the MY CONTACTS for Outlook 2013?
Does anyone know how to set up an email to do so?
After receiving notice from Windows alerts, I found out that a hard drive crash was imminent and that I needed to save all my files as quickly as possible. In Outlook Professional 2010, I exported all of my email folders to my hard drive and the burned them to DVDs. Now I have all of these folders full of emails that I am trying to upload back into Outlook. I just cannot figure out how to add them so that they are listed on the left of my Outlook screen much like the folders inbox, deleted items, outbox, etc.
Some good advice would be appreciated.
Hi

Anyone have any ideas?
I'm accessing my Tiscali e-mails through Microsoft Office Outlook mail client because it is so much quicker BUT it doesn't have a spell checker? Misspelt words are underscored with a red line, but when I highlight them and right click, there is no spell check function.
BY the way, I wrote to Microsoft Support and I've attached below the answer they gave me....
"I would like to inform you that Outlook.com and Office Outlook mail client are different mail systems. How spell check works on Outlook.com is different and is not integrated on Office Outlook mail client. To know more about this, kindly refer to the link below: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook_com/wiki/oemail-osend/email-systems-differences-explained/2b2d2a39-a51b-4a15-bec8-436fe385d774 If you have spellcheck feature working on your browser, I highly recommend that you bring this case to their support form as they are in the best position to assist you regarding this. Can anyone please advise how can I get a spell checker installed in Outlook?
